ToBeDoo ("we", "our", or "the app") respects your privacy. This policy describes what data we collect, how we use it, and your rights regarding your personal information.

2. Data we collect

• Account data: When you sign in with Google, we receive and store your email, name, and profile image from Google.
• Task data: Tasks, due dates, tags, notes, and related content you create in the app.
• Usage data: We may log anonymous usage (e.g. errors, performance) to improve the service.
• Contact and newsletter: If you submit the contact form or subscribe to the newsletter, we store the email and message content you provide, and we may record your IP address for abuse prevention.

3. How we use your data

We use your data to:

• Provide and operate the todo and reminder features.
• Sync with Google Calendar and Gmail when you enable those integrations.
• Run AI-based task analysis when you use that feature (task content is sent to our configured AI provider).
• Respond to contact requests and send newsletters if you opted in.
• Comply with law and protect our rights and users.

4. Third parties

We use Google for sign-in, and optionally for Calendar and Gmail. AI analysis may use Google (Gemini) or OpenAI. Our infrastructure (e.g. hosting, database) may process data on our behalf. We do not sell your personal data to third parties for marketing.

5. Cookies and storage

We use session and authentication cookies to keep you signed in. We may use local storage for preferences (e.g. theme). You can clear cookies and local storage in your browser; doing so may sign you out.

6. Your rights (including GDPR)

If you are in the EEA/UK or similar regions, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or restrict processing of your personal data, and to data portability. To exercise these rights or ask questions, contact us via the contact form on the app. You may also have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority.

7. Data retention

We retain your account and task data until you delete your account or ask us to delete it. We may retain some data as required by law or for legitimate purposes (e.g. resolving disputes).

8. Changes

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top will change when we do. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
